The mission (purpose of the position)

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced webmaster to join our growing in-house technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing our company’s and clients’ web presence, ensuring that our site is user-friendly and always up to date. You will also work with our technology team to expand our presence through the design and implementation of new web-based applications that will positively impact our customers’ experience. You should be highly knowledgeable in digital marketing, online security, content management, and have solid coding skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and update functional and easy-to-use websites hosting technical updates (design work, video editing)
  • Test websites across browsers, operating systems, and devices
  • Safeguard information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems
  • Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources
  • Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations
  • Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements
  • Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits
  • Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls
  • Optimize loading speeds and capacity
  • Schedule and maintain data and design backups
  • Debug pages and fix broken links or images
  • Develop, implement, manage and oversee our social media strategy and content
  • Monitor and analyze site performance (e.g. traffic, conversions) measuring the success of every social media campaign (monitor/increase Google Reviews)
  • Design Google Ads/ Facebook Ads managing Ad spending
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Use social media marketing tools
  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
  • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
  • Test graphics across various media
  • Amend designs after feedback
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization, increase rankings
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Provide constructive feedback

  • Proven experience as a Webmasteror Web Developer
  • Solid understanding of SEO/SEM, social media and CRM software with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data
  • Familiarity with web standards
  • Working knowledge of website management tools
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS, XML; knowledge of SQL and Javascript is preferred
  • Content creation and management
  • Proven graphic designing experience
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  • Experience with E-Commerce platforms, shopping cart and payment gateways.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to generate creative ideas
  • Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills


  • A Degree in Web Development, Computer Science or related qualification.
  • Experience as an eCommerce administrator.
  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues.
  • Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
  • Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
  • Certificate and/or experience in marketing would be an asset
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
